Eckington Rotary - lean and keen!

Welcome to Eckington Rotary Club, part way between Sheffield and Chesterfield, we might be one of the smaller groups in the district, but we're also the friendliest the fastest growing.

We have both male and female members, and commit to fundraising and socialising with equal enthusiasm. As we are a small club, each member has a part to play and their say in what we do and who we support.

So What's Rotary All About?

You've probably heard of Rotary but do you know why we exist and what we do?  We're not all black tie dinners and starched collars, Rotary is one of the biggest fund raising organisations in the world with over 1.2 million members.  We're commited to helping communities at local, national and international level and our most ambitious project at present is to rid the planet of polio.  We're close and with luck it could happen within the next couple of years. Another major project is Shelterbox, which provides emergency disaster support.
